Employees in New Jersey who don’t have access to a retirement savings program can now have one set up by the state.

It’s called RetireReady NJ, which was established by the New Jersey Secure Choice Savings Program Act.

Businesses with 25 or more employees that have been in business for two years or more and do not offer a plan would be required to enroll, but would do so at no cost to them. People who work for other employers or for themselves can also use the program.
